BSA Annual Conference for Deputy Heads & Heads of Boarding

BSA Annual Conference for Deputy Heads & Heads of Boarding

We'll be attending the BSA Annual Conference for Deputy Heads and Heads of Boarding in Brighton next week. With a focus on building international relationships and enhancing wellbeing within the boarding sector, in addition to a variety of engaging speakers, it's set to be another very interesting event.

Will we see you there?

Jamie Reid, iSAMS’ Sales Director, and Lisa Evans, Head of Marketing, will be at this event from Wednesday 30th January to Friday 1st February. If you’re also going to be there, it would be great to see you for lunch or a scheduled catch-up.

As well as hearing about your current and future plans, we’d love to share our recent developments and upcoming features with you, and discuss how we could best support the growth and development of your students.

If you need a conversation starter, be sure to ask us about these exciting features:

  1. Wellbeing Manager
The changing landscape of safeguarding in education means there's now even more pressure on staff members to ensure they're meeting wellbeing and child protection requirements, providing each student with the best possible experience in their pathway to higher education. Adhering to UK and international safeguarding best practices, including compliance with the Scottish Government's GIRFEC, we developed our Wellbeing Manager. This module enables you to record, manage and monitor all safeguarding concerns in a single place, with an in-built Raised Flag feature to draw attention to moments that significantly impact a student and should be shared with other staff, parents and caregivers as needed. With all these features and more, this module is dedicated to supporting you in the provision of proactive and preventative care for every student.

  2. Our suite of multilingual apps
Compatible with both Android and iOS devices, our state of the art apps are designed to make it even easier to view key school information on the go. Now available in 10 languages, these apps continue to further our goal of increasing the accessibility of important school information for staff, students and parents, wherever they are in the world. With a customisable dashboard and information recalled from the iSAMS MIS in real-time, in addition to being able to send your Boarding Houses essential updates via your mobile device, you can make sure you and your colleagues are always kept in the loop. 3. Compliance with Data Protection
Following the GDPR regulations released last year, we developed our Data Protection module. This is designed specifically to support our schools in complying with data protection laws, and to enable a faster and easier response to all Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
