ISBA Conference Torquay

ISBA Conference Torquay

We got to meet with lots of existing schools as well as some potential new ones. It is very pleasing to hear so many positive comments from our existing schools and especially from the Bursar’s themselves. Thank you to everyone who took time out to visit our stand.

iSAMS were running a “Longest Drive competition on the Nintendo Wii”. Jim Doherty of Loughborough Endowed Schools** was the first person to play on Wednesday morning and drove a very impressive 322 meters. He remained the leader for two days and on the final session, Paddy Jackman of Ardingly College out drove Jim with a dodgy sliced drive than finished 327 meters in the middle of the fairway. Paddy won two vouchers to play at the Celtic Manor 2010 Ryder Cup Course. A very happy Paddy collecting his prize from Matthew Sampson.

We also had a prize draw for those people who didn’t want to enter the Golf Competition and the Fortnum & Mason Hamper was won by Trefor Llewellyn of Bradfield College. Congratulations to Trefor and thank you to everyone that entered.

Looking forward to seeing you all again at the 2014 Conference.
