Are you involved in girls’ only education in your school? The Girls’ School Association needs your help in their groundbreaking study that marks their 150th anniversary!
iSAMS has been a GSA partner for a number of years. We understand the importance of girls’ education and recognise the work that the GSA does for female learners and their schools across the UK and Channel Islands. We’re pleased to already support over 50% of GSA members with our software!
The association has recently launched a survey to conduct the most comprehensive study into women and girls’ experiences of girls’ education to-date. The research calls on heads, teachers, students, parents, and alumni to help understand the landscape of girls’ education today and share girls’ experiences of Independent and state female-focused education.
Those who have experience of working in or attending a girls’ school (including parents of children in attendance) are encouraged to share their thoughts. You don’t need to be a GSA member.
This landmark study aims to understand the benefits of girls’ schools for young girls and to learn more about girls’ schools’ ability to equip girls for their life after finishing school.
The survey is open and comes with an information pack, as well as additional teaching resources that your school can use to guide younger students.
Please follow the link below, where you can find the relevant links to each survey. You will also find contact details for the GSA, where you can access the welcome pack and teachers’ toolkit.

The surveys will be open into October, so you may wish to make plans to share this with your school community following the summer break.
